In a dystopian Detroit, grand houses that once housed the wealthy are now homes of the city's most-dangerous criminals. Surrounding the area is a giant wall to keep the rest of Detroit safe. For undercover cop Damien Collier (Paul Walker), every day is a battle against corruption as he struggles to bring his father's killer, Tremaine (RZA), to justice. Meanwhile, Damien and an ex-con named Lino (David Belle) work together to save the city from a plot to destroy it.
Dark Matter is a Canadian science fiction series created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, based on their comic book of the same name and developed by Prodigy Pictures in association with Space channel. An order for 13 episodes was placed for the first season of the series, which premiered on June 12, 2015 on both Space and Syfy.
Dark Matter was renewed for a 13-episode third season in September 2016, which premiered on June 9, 2017
When crew members working on a derelict spaceship awaken from stasis, they have no memory of who they are or how they got onto the vessel. Principal photography began in Montreal on April 5, 2010. The film was released in 2D and in 3D (using the Real D 3D and Digital 3D formats) on November 11, 2011 by Relativity Media, becoming a commercial success at the box office. It received mixed to positive reviews, with critics praising the cast's acting, Tarsem's direction and visuals, action sequences, production and costume design, and music, but criticized the film's story, script and the lack of character development
Marie Lamontagne, a mother of two children, is sentenced for attempted murder of her father and lives in Unit 9 of Lietteville, a federal penitentiary for women. She learns to live this new life with the help of the other inmates of this unit. We will discover the reasons why each of them was imprisoned in Lietteville as well as their relationship and the history of the prison employees. Marie will have to find a place in this environment that is unknown and will face Normand Despins, the new director of the institution, which has a different conception of hers on the rehabilitation of women responsible for a crime. She will try to show that they are all entitled to a second chance.
